'Shovel Knight' Release Date: Developers Glad With Nintendo Platform Sales; Upcoming 3DS Theme In Australia And Europe
In recent interview of Game Source, David D'Angelo explained everything most especially the challenge they got through just to release the game in different platforms. Aside from that, they also faced the challenge of dealing and working to different companies in order for them to release the game on their target release date.
Despite everything, D'Angelo said that Nintendo was very helpful in terms of promoting as well as marketing the "Shovel Knight" in Wii U and Nintendo 3DS in which the game is very saleable. Hence, they are thankful to all of those who have helped them achieve their objectives. Of course, without their efforts everything will be wasted.
The process of creating "Shovel Knight" for 3DS and Wii U was fortunately a very smooth one, but of course it is expected that the work is incredibly countless and difficult. Given the fact that you are creating a game in different platform is already a challenge and making this game unique and putting this game in a console is very important as well as hard to tackle. Yet the developers of "Shovel Knight" succeed.
In North America, fans of Nintendo are already enjoying "Shovel Knight" while 3DS and Wii U owners in Australia and Europe should wait for another month to release the local medieval side-scroller.
To reward those location that have been very patient to wait, Yacht Clubs Games said that they are already working 3DS "Shovel Knight" theme. This will be available very soon in Nintendo Australia and Europe, though this would be in limited time only.
In one of the "Shovel Knight" reviews, this game is considered as one of the great Indie games being released on Wii U and 3DS. Such game took different classic gameplay mechanics and developers combined them altogether to create unique gameplay experience, making this a brand new game that anyone would really enjoy to play.
In addition, there are also game systems that are clearly inspired by several modern games. One of those modern games is "Dark Souls" series that contributes a lot in the process of creating "Shovel Knight" and making the game wonderfully made.
