FX American Horror Story Freak Show Release date, Trailer, and News: NEW Promo Art Gives First Look at the Freaky new Season

The newly released promo art gives us our first look at the cast playing their respective characters.

We see Kathy Bates as the Bearded Lady Effel Darling. To her right is Angela Bassett playing a character named Desiree Dupree, who seems to have 3 breasts in the promo but it has not yet been confirmed by the show. On the Bottom right we see newcomer to the show Michael Chiklis as the The Strong Man, who will also be the ex-husband of Effel Darling. Front and center is American Horror Story veteran and fan-favorite Jessica Lange as Elsa Mars, the German headmistress of the Freak Show. To her left is Evan Peters is as Jimmy Darling, son of the Strong Man and the Bearded Lady. Of course who would miss Sarah Paulson above them all as the two-headed lady, Bette and Dot. Surely fans are excited to see more of the show, because I am!

If the promo art doesn't quite cut it, they have also released a new teaser. The teaser depicts a creature of some kind inside a birdcage. The same creature is in the promo art as well. She/It's at the bottom left beside The Strong Man.

American Horror Story: Freak Show is about the last freak show in America in the 1950s' struggling to keep the business running. An evil force begins to haunt the latest neighborhood they've toured, and it seems like this freak might just be one of them.

American Horror Story Freak Show premieres on October 8 on FX.
