We have the latest for you on the cast, trailer, release date and latest updates of The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1 2014. The Hunger games Mockingjay, the franchise movie, starring Jennifer Lawrence as the heroine will be released as the third installment of a four series based novel. Katniss Everdenn is Jennifer Lawrence's character name in the movie.

The full length trailer has been released and it gives the audience a clear picture of what Katniss has in store for us. The movie picks up where it left of in last years' movie "Catching Fire". Jennifer Lawrence will star alongside cast of fellow returning actors Josh Huthcherson (Peter Mellark), Woody Harrelson (Haymitch Abernathy), Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne) and finally Donald Sutherland as the villainous President Snow. The late Philip Seymour Hoffman will also be shown reprising his unfinished cast of Plutarch Heavensbee. President Snow will have a new rival in form of Julianne Moore, "Game of Thrones'' Natalie Dormer will act as Cressida, another rebel. The pop star Lorde will 'curate' the soundtrack for the film.

The trailer starts with Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) saying that she never wanted any of it. She says all she wanted was to save Prim, her sister, and Peeta, her friend. As the scene continues, the audience can see her talking with President Snow. The president makes it rather clear that the people would love to see her downfall. The trailer then cuts and shows Katniss in District 13 alongside with several shots of her on the propaganda tour. There are also flashes of fellow surviving characters of the game including Finnick, Beetee, and Peeta.

In the first trailer, we were shown Peeta dressed in a white suit indicating he has become the Capitol's Puppet. It does seem as if this movie will be all based on saving Peeta, Katniss makes it rather clear that this is her priority.

Liam Hemsworth who plays as Gale will be the main focus for many viewers. He is involved from the start where he is seen with Katniss on the first scene of the trailer. It does appear that he is set out for revenge for his District 12 home destruction and seeks freedom for everyone. He is prepared to do what it takes and that includes taking down passing hovercrafts with arrows.

The movie is due to premiere in cinemas on November 21^st in US.
